AWeber is an email marketing provider often called an auto responder which allows you to build up those all-important email lists and send out hundreds and thousands of emails at the drop of a hat.

Email marketing when done right can be very powerful; it is still regarded as the best form of online marketing even with the popularity of social media an email list still has a better rate of conversion.

This could be down to the fact social media is seen exactly as that, it is just about being social and having fun whereas email is the oldest and the original electronic mail, it is regarded as being the online equivalent of receiving something through the post.

We all still love to receive something through the post and when we get a letter we often think ‘Why are they writing to me?’ or ‘Oh cool I got a letter from…’ People still do that with email and it is seen as being a formal and private letter between you and the receiver.

If someone has joined an email list to gain new and useful quality information it makes sense that they would want to open it and see what you have to say. If you nurture your email list properly and give them quality information more than just try to sell them products an email list can be a seriously profitable business.

There are many different ways of interacting with your email list.

1. Some people send out a large newsletter style email full of information, something I like to do every now and then.
2. Some send out shorter emails informing them of a latest blog post that has been published, another one I use regularly.
3. Some send out a brief email informing them of a bigger better newsletter or video hosted online either as a PDF document or as a page on a website (Like this one :-))
4. Some people send out a weekly or monthly round up of all of the week’s/month’s blog/website articles and content.
5. Some just send out emails promoting products whether they be their own or those by affiliates.
6. Then there are those, like me, who do a bit of everything. As they say variety is the spice of life and as long as I give good content I like to do a mixture of email styles.
